Transforming mental health education: Maudsley Learning's approach
Since 2014, Maudsley Learning has been at the forefront of designing and delivering innovative simulation courses catering to a diverse audience including doctors, mental health professionals, midwives, students, police officers, social workers, actors many more. Our highly skilled team has pioneered the development and delivery of simulation teaching in virtual environments, conducting small-group simulation sessions to enhance clinical learning.
Over the years, we have forged partnerships with esteemed physical health institutions such as King’s College London and Guy’s and St. Thomas NHS Foundation Trust. Additionally, we collaborate with various organisations including mental health institutions, universities, and pharmaceutical companies, notably the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN). Our reach extends nationally in the UK, with recent programs commissioned by Health Education England (now known as NHS England).
With an extensive portfolio of mental health simulation training, we offer courses that can be tailored to specific needs or delivered as train-the-trainer programs.
